2012 PALEO CHALLENGE

I’ve had a think about the things that worked and things that didn’t with all the previous challenges. I’m going to reintroduce a diary; only open to CF members; registration will happen at a sign-on sheet at the gym and not online; Facebook is still good open forum for discussions; first 30 days are strict straight up; no getting rid of one bad food at a time; ALL gone from day 1; still re-introduce different foods at the end of 30 days to trial tolerance. Full challenge is 100 days. Ulterior motive is to make the challenge turn into your new normal.

So, there is now a sign-on sheet at the box. The next 100 Day Challenge starts on Friday 6th January 2012. However, before you are eligible to join in you must complete a pre-challenge checklist. This includes but is not limited to: reading your Whole30 Guide (will be provided – it’s only 13 pages so not a novel); sorting your pantry (sugar, flour, weetbix etc to go in the bin); grocery shopping to be completed that supports success in eating Paleo (eggs, veges, meats, nuts, seeds, etc); get your tupperware sorted. You need to workout if you are going to tell people, not tell people, is whole family doing it, is partner supportive, are you ready to chop veges instead of watch TV etc. You will get the checklist when you sign up. Buy a diary or an app that is easy to use. You will be reporting weekly with your diary. You can email me your notes if preferred.
